We hope that everyone is healthy and well in these early days of April. What an unexpected year 2020 has been so far. Remember the days when “Corona” was just a beer and we took toilet paper and public outings for granted? Like so many others, we started off the year with our list of decorating projects, landscaping ideas, and vacations to plan. We never imagined that the entire world would be caught in the grips of a pandemic that would suddenly make us all feel a little bit closer, yet so isolated. We just need to remain patient and think of everything we have to look forward to when all of this is behind us.
This year, our Spring Open House took place on Saturday, March 14th. Although we missed seeing many familiar faces, we understood the difficulty of the current situation. For those that did venture in, we thank you! For those that couldn’t be here, please enjoy a peek below of what we showcased. The store was in full bloom with new greenery and accessories. We also introduced new tabletop decor with a variety of chargers, dishware, specialty glassware, placemats, and napkin rings. It was so much fun setting all of our dining tables in anticipation of Easter! We will definitely be doing it again for the holidays. Some of our favorite design elements included: the lemon fabric featured on furniture and panels, the green majolica plates, the faux potted daffodils, and (of course) all the bunnies:)
We miss seeing everyone and we can’t wait to share all of our new finds with you. Although we are now closed temporarily for the shelter-in-place order, we look forward to seeing you when the mandate is lifted and we reopen. In the meantime, we will try and use this blog as a way to stay in touch and share some design inspiration. We are also looking forward to making plans regarding our Anniversary Sale in the weeks to come. We normally start it the beginning of May, but this year has definitely proven to be different from years past and our sale will likely be postponed into summer. We’ll keep you posted on details as we figure it out. Thank you and we look forward to getting back to decorating with you soon!
